Every Child Deserves a Top Education and a Safe Community

The InZone Project now partners with guardians and families across the United States of America and abroad who take in disadvantaged youth. These guardians act as a surrogate family to youth in their care living out the InZone model and provide a complete support system.

The origin of who we are

It all started with a holiday trip to New Zealand. The founder and visionary of InZone, Terrance Wallace, arrived in New Zealand from Chicago in 2010. Soon after arriving in New Zealand, Terrance travelled the country and was saddened to learn about the level of educational underachievement that existed among our Māori and Pacific Island youth.

InZone Project provides boys in grades 7th through 9th grade with the opportunity to immerse themselves in affluential residential and school communities with high expectations and a focus on achievement in their academic, sporting and cultural activities.

"But with having the boys around you and the mentors to support you – having that in place has kept me going for the five years here."

- Frazer Strickland, Former InZone Student

"You really taught to work hard...It’s always a healthy competition."

- Curt Manukia, Former InZone Student
